Department of Applied Science and Humanities was established in 2013. The Department handles papers in Engg. Mathematics, Engg. Physics and Engg. Chemistry within the Engineering curriculam. A high standard is maintained by the Department in imparting knowledge in basic sciences.
Department fosters a dynamic academic environment which is committed to a tradition of excellence in teaching and service with a team of dedicated academic staff, having ample experience. The Department maintains a stable foundation and strong commitment to teaching and engage in constant expansion of enriching knowledge
The Department of Applied Science and Humanities is solely responsible for mentoring and disciplining the First year Engineering students of all branches with strong professional ethics, leadership qualities and a sense of social responsibility. The department focuses on providing high-quality, industry-relevant education for developing professionally competent engineers with innovative thinking and ethical values.

The teaching and non-teaching staff of the Applied Science and Humanities Department along with the Director and Principal of the institution went for an one day trip to Braemore and Botanical garden, Palode on 30/12/2025. The trip was aimed to provide a break from the academic routine and foster team bonding among faculty, Director and Principal.
The trip was filled with fun, games, songs, dance and much more. A special lunch, arranged by our Director, with a variety of food cuisines was the highlight of the trip. The trip concluded refreshing and rejuvenating everyone.

The toppers of First Semester Examination were appreciated and awarded for their consistent effort, hard work and determination by our Director and Principal. It was a proud moment not only for the students but also for our institution, teachers and family who supported them.
