ACTIVITIES
The Extension Cell in association with the Department of Mechanical Engineering has organized an industrial visit for B.Tech S4 ME Students in KWA Water Treatment Plant at Aruvikkara on 05-07-2022. The visit gave an exposure for the students as they witnessed the processes which were carried out in the water treatment plant.
The NSS Technical Cell in association with Extension Cell of LMCST organised a blood donation camp at Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology on 31.05.2022. Thirty Six units of blood were donated to Sree Chithra Thirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram.
The LMCST Extension cell in association with NSS organised a monsoon season cleaning process at LMCST on 27.05.2022. As part of this programme, the students removed the water from the waste bottles, coconut shells (rubber plantation), etc in the campus to avoid the chances of mosquito breeding.
“Together with Nature – 2022” programme conducted by Extension Cell, Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology in association with Agricultural office, Kuttichal on 13/05/2022. This Programme aims to plant some vegetable saplings inside our college campus and to spread an awareness for the students to practice this.
Extension Cell in association with the Civil Engineering department actively participated in ”Jala Samirdha Keralam” programme initiated by the Kerala water Authority in Kuttichal Panchayat on 12-05-2022. The main objective of the program was to clean up the water resources by testing the water quality and giving awareness to the local people.
The Extension Cell in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has conducted a Computer literacy Programme for the Staffs of Primary Health Centre, Kuttichal. The class started on 04/04/2022 at Internet Lab, CSE department.
