Vision and Mission

Course Outcomes

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been functioning since the inception of the college from the year 2002, with an intake of 60 students for UG course. The intake of the Department was raised to 120 students in the year 2010. Approval for starting PG course in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering was accorded to the Department in the year 2012 with an annual intake of 18 students. The Department has well qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers all having PG and higher qualifications in different streams. Innovative methods are adopted to achieve learning abilities through practice, exposure, and motivation. We have well-equipped laboratories with the meticulously planned layout to cater to the needs of both the UG and PG students. The non- teaching staff are equally experienced and knowledgeable and can guide the students in their practical sessions.

The Department has various labs namely Electronics Devices and Circuits Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Analog & Digital Communication Lab, Microwave & Optical Communication Lab, Programming & Simulation Lab, Industrial Electronics Lab, Electronics Product Design\Mini Project Lab, Instrumentation & Control Lab (M.Tech) and VLSI and Embedded System Lab (M.Tech). All the labs are fully equipped to meet the academic curriculum with the latest up to date versions of various software and tools. The Department also boasts of a department library having a large volume of different academic books related to electronics. The books can be borrowed for reference by faculty members and final year students pursuing their project and seminar works.

We at the Department believe that learning is a continuous and lifelong process and does not end with the acquisition of a degree. Hence students are given a strong foundation in Electronics, Communication and Instrumentation Engineering and are made adaptable to changes. The faculty members are committed and dedicated to molding the careers of the students by offering the best quality education.
