The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) of Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology is a dynamic innovation ecosystem established to foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students and faculty members. Functioning under the guidance of Kerala Startup Mission, the IEDC serves as a platform that transforms innovative ideas into impactful solutions and entrepreneurial ventures.

The centre aims to create an environment that empowers aspiring innovators by providing mentorship, technical guidance, networking opportunities, and startup support. Through innovation-driven activities and collaborative initiatives, the IEDC encourages students to identify real-world challenges and develop technology-enabled solutions with social and industrial relevance.

“To be an aspirational Technology Business Incubator (TBI) for student entrepreneurs within the campus that strengthens the educational system, bridges the gap between industry and academia, and promotes national, economic, and social growth.”

“To create a self-sustained ecosystem with adequate infrastructure and technological advancements that empowers interaction between student innovators and faculty mentors, promotes collaboration with industries and academic institutions across the globe, and nurtures successful entrepreneurs.”
