A healthier state of mind, improve the quality of life. Physical education is an integral part of the total education of every student. Quality physical education programmes are needed to increase the physical competence, health-related fitness, self responsibility, moral development and enable the students to socialize with others. Physical education programmes can provide these benefits if they are well planned and well – implemented. Exercises block negative thoughts and distract people from daily worries.

Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology, provides great opportunities for all students in indoor and outdoor sports and games activities. The College aims at the holistic development of each student. We are proud to say that, our College provides the students with outdoor facilities like two volleyball courts, cricket and football courts, basketball court, shuttle badminton courts, handball court and athletic field. We also provide indoor facilities like gymnasium, table tennis, caroms, boxing and chess. We are happy that our students make the best use of the facilities. We conduct inter-class games competitions and annual sports meet every year. We prepare our students to participate in the Kerala University inter-collegiate sports and games competitions every year.
