Rev. Dr Bejoy Arackal was the Head of the Department of Oriental Languages at the renowned Mar Gregorios College, Alappuzha. He acted as the Bursar at Mar Gregorios College for a period of seven years as well. During his service the development of the college was exemplary and the college was honoured with the Prestigious P T Chacko Memorial Award for the best Self Financing College in Kerala. He served two years as a Professor in Assumption College, Changanassery. He was also a former professor in St.Thomas Seminary ,Niranam . He has completed his Ph.D. (Doctorate) in Malayalam Language from Madras University. He is also committed to social work and was the President of Orphanage And Charitable Institutions , Alappuzha. He was Assistant Director in Catechism Department Sandeshanilayam ,Changanassery and Director of Alappuzha Forane Youth Movement for 5 years. Rev.Dr.Bejoy Arackal received the Haritha Keralam Mission’s Chief Minister’s State Award for Best Pachathuruthu (Green Islet) project on 16.09.25.The Prestigious Environmental Award was given to him for his noble work in the Gregorian campus. He is also a great writer and has published many articles in Bhashaposhini. He is also a motivational speaker and prominent social worker.
