TinkerHub LMCST
About Us
TinkerHub LMCST, established in 2026, is the official TinkerHub Campus Community at Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology. As the college’s first TinkerHub chapter, we aim to build a culture where students learn by doing, collaborate across disciplines, and grow together as makers.
Whether you’re interested in technology, design, robotics, entrepreneurship, content creation, or simply curious to explore something new, TinkerHub is a place where everyone can learn, build, and belong.
Vision
To build a thriving maker culture at LMCST where every student has access to the knowledge, opportunities, and community needed to learn continuously, create meaningful solutions, and shape a better future.
Mission
At TinkerHub LMCST, we strive to:
Foster curiosity and continuous learning.
Encourage students to build real-world projects.
Promote open knowledge and peer learning.
Create an inclusive community where everyone feels welcome.
Help students develop technical, creative, and leadership skills beyond the classroom.
What We Believe
Our community is guided by the values that define TinkerHub:
Learn by Doing – Build, experiment, and create.
Stay Curious – Every journey begins with a question.
Knowledge Should Be Open – Learn together, share freely.
Never Give Up – Every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
Community First – Great things are built together.
What We Do
Through workshops, Study Jams, hackathons, mentorship, community events, and collaborative projects, TinkerHub LMCST creates opportunities for students to explore new ideas, build practical skills, and connect with like-minded peers.
More than a technical community, we aim to create a space where students from every discipline feel empowered to learn, contribute, and grow.
Our Guiding Principles:
Be Kind. Stay Curious. Never Give Up.
These simple ideas shape how we learn, collaborate, and grow as a community at TinkerHub LMCST.
